Watch this video to follow the walking route from Kintetsu Nara and JR Nara Stations to Okada. It’s designed to help first-time visitors confirm the way while passing by famous spots like Kofukuji Temple and Sarusawa Pond.

Okada is located approximately a 7-minute walk from Kintetsu Nara Station.
From Exit 2 of Kintetsu Nara Station, walk through the Higashimuki Shopping Arcade. At the end of the arcade, turn left onto Sanjo Street. Continue walking with Kofukuji Temple on your left, then turn right along Sarusawa Pond.
You will see Ritsugawa Bridge and Ritsugawa Jizo slightly ahead on your left. Enter Imamikado Street, pass KOTOWA Nara Park on your left, and you will find Okada on the right-hand side.
From JR Nara Station, exit from the East Gate and proceed left from the station rotary. Walk east along Sanjo Street (Kuragoe Nara Kaido). When you see the Five-Story Pagoda of Kofukuji, continue south toward Sarusawa Pond.
Cross the bridge near the stone lantern and Ritsugawa Jizo, and after a short walk, you will find Okada with its black vertical lattice façade on the right-hand side.
