At Okada, we offer traditional kaiseki-style Japanese course meals in the true spirit of kaiseki (会席)—designed to be enjoyed together with sake.
While respecting the classical flow often associated with kappo or kaiseki cuisine, we place great importance on the harmony between seasonal dishes and carefully selected beverages.
Originally, kaiseki cuisine developed as a style of Japanese dining meant to be served alongside alcohol. Each dish enhances the sake, and in turn, the sake deepens the flavors of the food.
