We offer seasonal cuisine that changes with the passing of each month.
At Okada, we serve authentic Kaiseki-ryori, the traditional form of Japanese multi-course dining meant to be enjoyed alongside fine sake. While honoring the classic flow of "Kaiseki," we place special importance on the harmony between seasonal delicacies and your drink.
The foundation of all our dishes is our Dashi (soup stock), which we meticulously craft from Ma-kombu (premium kelp from southern Hokkaido) and Honkarebushi (aged dried bonito flakes).
Historically, Kaiseki-ryori developed as a style of Japanese cuisine to be served with sake. Each dish is designed to complement the sake, while the sake, in turn, deepens the flavors of the food. We invite you to savor this mutual harmony as it unfolds through the gentle course of your meal.
